My style of art

As you can see my style is that of a mixed media and the uses that it allows me to make. These artworks are not dictated by the material alone but by how it feels to me and what it tells me what it wants to be. I plan the pieces out like a big puzzle sometimes or I just layer these pieces onto one another to make a composition. The whole aesthetic to my works vary as my styles vary. Most of my work would be classified by a western / southwestern aesthetic. But this doesn't dictate what nor how I make my work. I am a very textural artist which applies to my work as an original single sculpture. My paintings have texture also that vary from smooth to heavy texture. I want my viewer to feel the piece visually and sometimes by touch. The limestone sculptures also have contrasting textures. What do you like about textured pieces? Do you like to feel sculptures that are at institutions on their grounds intended for touch?
